Hello, and welcome to LCC Bacolod
Looking back through the documents and my initial integration with LCCB Community of Friends, I felt God’s abundant blessings for her 95 years of existence as a Catholic College, preparing for a university status amidst the challenges of balancing the reality of sustainability, seeking new creative ways to be faithful to her mission as a catholic school at the same time venturing into revenue generating possibilities to keep viable and great in her centenary jubilee.
My heartfelt thanks to my predecessor for all her great accomplishments in the past years... Her Annual Performance Report chronicled developments on campus for School Year 2013-2014. It marks success of LCCB born of collective commitment and service of the Administrators, Teaching and Non-Teaching Personnel and General Maintenance Staff who have pledged to continue the development of the COLLEGE.
I commend the lay administrators and partners for their dedication and passion to deliver with accuracy the desired outputs expected, aligned with LCC’s core values of Christ-Centeredness, Community, Diversity, Excellence and Stewardship.
The Action Plans speak of a participative approach to improving the school operations and enhancing global competitiveness along the five strategic goals;
…Nurturing a Vibrant Augustinian Culture, Advanced Academic, Quality and Innovation, Expand Boundaries, Assure Viability and Enhanced Technology and Facilities; and across the seven operational areas: Faculty Development, Research and Accreditation; Instruction and Technology; Extension Services; Networking and Marketing, Development of Systems, and Student Development.
There is much to be done in the years ahead but with God’s instrument of love and generosity everything will be in place.
Meanwhile, I would like to express my deep gratitude to Mo. General and the Council for the trust given in the midst of the many challenges, to my Sisters’ Community for their kind support, to the Board of Trustees, the entire Academic Community for their welcoming spirit of friendship, cooperation and commitment to LCCB’s continuous endeavor to be Center of Evangelization to the Mission of the Church today.
