June 25, 2024—Three faculty research proposals have been approved by a panel of key college administrators. These proposals, aligned with the institutional agenda recommended by the Board of Trustees, cover critical topics in faculty and employee development.
The approved research topics are:
Assessing the Reliability of the Faculty Merit System Instrument by Adrian Taglorin and Al Anthony Talaman;
Effectiveness of the Faculty Development Program by Ma. Mae Toledo and Deofrey Villamor; and
Relationship between Salary Increase, Peer Relationship, and Job Engagement among Employees by Mary Nelyn Guilaran
The evaluation panel, consisting of Dean Baniline Jone Abantao-Portal,
VP for Personnel Romela R. Aujero, Dean Penny Sanchez, and VP for Research, Innovations, and Linkages Rodjhun Navarro, provided valuable feedback and recommendations to enhance the research proposals. They also expressed their support for the studies and encouraged inter-departmental collaboration.
The session was moderated by the Senior High Academic Coordinator Rejay Alvarado, who also served as an adviser to the researchers.
The faculty-researchers will carry out their studies in the next two weeks and will present their findings during the institutional assembly.
