Campus Blessing Ceremony at the HRM & Tourism Center

January 21, 2025 — Earlier today, La Consolacion College Bacolod held a Campus Blessing Ceremony at the HRM & Tourism Center on Quezon Avenue. The event began with a Holy Mass celebrated by Rev. Fr. Jepser Bermudez, OSA, followed by the formal blessing of the newly reopened facility.

Administrators, faculty, staff, and students attended the ceremony, reflecting the college’s collective commitment to continuously enhance its Hospitality and Tourism Management programs.

In her message, LCC Bacolod President Sr. Flolyn S. Catungal, OSA, underscored the significance of reactivating the center for student accessibility and program excellence:

“The HRMTC stands as a symbol of LCC Bacolod’s pioneering edge and excellence in Hospitality and Tourism Management education. We are re-opening this center to make our programs more accessible for students, while the Amistad Center for Culinary Arts remains a functional facility for those specializing in culinary.”

The ceremony concluded with a shared sense of optimism, as members of the LCC Bacolod community looked forward to new opportunities and enriching experiences that the HRM & Tourism Center will bring.
