
Rasulme Encarnacion, a Master of Arts in Education major in English/Literature student at La Consolacion College Bacolod and a teacher at St. Augustine International School, recently received her prizes from the raffle held during the Google Workspace On the Go: Learning without Limits workshop. Encarnacion was awarded a desktop printer and a projector, courtesy of QSR Research Corporation, LCC Bacolod’s partner in organizing the successful event.
The prizes were handed over by Dr. Monijean Espeleta, co-leader of Google Educator’s Group Bacolod, and Dr. Rodjhun Navarro, Program Head of the Master of Arts in Education major in Instructional Technology. The handing over of the prizes was witnessed by the Graduate School Academic Council on January 25, 2025, at La Consolacion College Bacolod.
Dr. Navarro commended QSR, emphasizing the importance of their support. He said, “Our goal is to empower educators to integrate technology, enhancing teaching practices and enriching student learning experiences. We are happy to work with QSR to promote the synergy between advanced tools and innovative education.”
The Master of Arts in Education major in Instructional Technology program at LCC Bacolod is designed to equip educators with the skills and knowledge needed to integrate digital tools and innovative strategies into teaching. The Google Workspace On the Go workshop was highly relevant as it introduced participants to the latest features and functionalities of Google Workspace tools, including updates on Google Meet, Classroom, and AI integrations.
