The event was more than just an exhibition—it was an opportunity for students to connect with fellow artists and expand their creative horizons. Doreen D. Dofitas of the Negros Artists’ Circle Inc. emphasized the significance of fostering creativity and self-expression among young artists, stating: “Creativity and self-expression should be fostered. Engaging students in art activities exposes them to diverse cultures and artistic styles. Activities such as exhibitions and workshops give them the exposure and opportunity to promote their talents and self-confidence. The chance to interact with other creatives is not often, and learning from each other—and the instance that there is a transfer of learning that occurs—may be considered a golden moment to further enhance one’s talent.”
The students of LCC Bacolod fully embraced this sentiment, making the most of the opportunity to interact with fellow creatives, learn from their peers, and refine their skills in a professional setting.
