La Consolacion College Bacolod’s Integrated Basic Education Department (IBED) held its first honors convocation of the school year 2025-2026, recognizing outstanding students from Grades 1 to 10 for academic excellence and exemplary deportment.
The ceremony opened with an invocation led by Angel Mae T. Cardenas and Kiara Maxene G. Baltazar, followed by the Philippine National Anthem sung by Cassandra Louise Sorianosos and the Hymn to Our Lady of Consolation by Jhoanna Althea B. Solano.

In her opening remarks, Grade 10 adviser Ms. Ciara Camille D. Fuentes commended students and parents for their commitment to learning. “This day celebrates not just achievement but perseverance and discipline,” she said.
The awards were presented by IBED Principal Sr. Irene M. Bancolo, OSA, assisted by faculty members. Honors in academics and deportment were announced by grade-level leaders, with students across the elementary and junior high levels recognized for their consistent performance.
Intermission numbers from Grade 6’s Rojin Ky C. Aldea and selected Grade 10 students highlighted the program, adding a celebratory atmosphere to the formal rites.
Among those recognized were Olivia Margaux S. Lague and Nathaniel C. Dulaca Jr. from Grade 1, both earning high honors, and Amelia Claudia G. Libanan and Krishanne Hope F. Jayme from Grade 10, who were named with high honors and commendations in deportment.
The convocation closed with remarks from Grade 6 adviser Carmela A. Paling, LPT, who urged honorees to remain humble while striving for greater success. The Loyalty Song and a recessional march concluded the event.
