LCCB Senior Red Cross Youth Council Places in First Aid Olympics

The Senior Red Cross Youth (RCY) Council of La Consolacion College Bacolod earned honors at the RCY Negros Occidental Chapter First Aid Olympics 2025, held Sunday at Carlos Hilado Memorial State University–Alijis Campus.

The team placed third among Junior High School councils and ranked 15th overall out of 21 participating councils from Junior High School, Senior High School, and college levels across Negros Occidental.

The student participants were Allyjha Ace Salsalida, Andrea Reyes, Angela Clarize Mallari, Elaiza Cordova, Kiara Maxene Baltazar, Leane Gwyneth Ramoran, Miguel Gumadlas, Paolo Antonio Magno, Jade Sustento, and Johanna Mikaela Miranda.

“We are proud of our RCY Senior Council members for their dedication and performance in the First Aid Olympics,” said Sr. Flolyn S. Catungal, OSA, president of LCC Bacolod. “Their commitment to service and excellence reflects the core values of our institution and inspires the entire LCCian community.”

Organized annually, the First Aid Olympics gathers youth councils under the Philippine Red Cross to test their knowledge and skills in first aid through various simulated emergency scenarios.
