La Consolacion College Bacolod turned over 450 books to Banago Elementary School on Thursday as part of its continuing outreach and literacy initiatives.
The book donation was facilitated by the Learning Resource Center and the Mo. Rita Barcelo Outreach Center of LCCB. The materials were formally received by Ms. Jazel E. Paguntalan, principal of Banago Elementary School.
Representing LCC Bacolod during the turnover were Ms. Red Pula, grade school librarian; Ms. Bernadette T. Tupas, head of the Mo. Rita Barcelo Outreach Center; and Mr. Joenil C. Aliguin, in charge of the Strategic Communications Unit.
The activity reflects the college’s commitment to promoting literacy, community engagement, and the Augustinian value of service through education.
