La Consolacion College Bacolod’s School of Liberal Arts, Teacher Education, and Graduate Studies (SSLATE) opened its two-day Aristeia Fest 2025 on Thursday, showcasing cultural diversity, student excellence, and interactive learning experiences.
The festival, themed “Bridging Worlds: Embracing Inclusivity Through Cultural Diversity,” began with an opening ceremony at the College Atrium, featuring a prayer, an inspirational message, and a ribbon-cutting led by the SSLATE dean and the school president.

A PATHFIT presentation followed at the LCCB Auditorium, highlighting physical fitness and wellness initiatives. After a midday break, students and faculty will gather at the Audio-Visual Center for the RVE Symposium at 1 p.m., to explore research, values education, and current issues across disciplines.
The celebration continues Friday with interactive room exhibitions on the second floor of the College Building, where classes transformed spaces into immersive cultural and educational displays. At the College Atrium, students will present a food showcase and offer items for sale as part of an experiential learning activity.
The festival will culminate with the Pinning Ceremony at 1:30 p.m. at the LCCB Chapel, honoring students as they begin their practicum and field experiences.
Sr. Flolyn S. Catungal, OSA, School President, commended the SSLATE community for mounting an event that reflects the institution’s mission to foster creativity, cultural awareness, and academic formation.
“ARISTEIA Fest celebrates the gifts of our students and the richness of our diverse communities,” she said. “When we embrace inclusivity, we create learning spaces where everyone can flourish.”
The SSLATE Department likewise expressed its gratitude to the working committees whose efforts, showcased in the festival brochure, helped ensure an engaging and meaningful Aristeia Fest 2025.
