The School of Architecture, Fine Arts and Interior Design (ARFIEN) of La Consolacion College Bacolod unveiled a striking showcase of scale models featuring iconic works of Asian architecture during a “lights-on” ceremony held Dec. 11, 2025, at the Santa Monica lobby.
The exhibit highlights the craftsmanship and creative discipline of Architecture, Fine Arts and Interior Design students who drew inspiration from landmark structures across Asia. The showcase includes meticulously crafted scale models representing traditional and contemporary architectural achievements, alongside additional Fine Arts outputs in painting, illustration, and mixed media.
The event marked a milestone for the school as it continues to advance experiential and studio-based learning in design education.

“This showcase reflects the commitment, perseverance and growing mastery of our students,” said Dr. Vincent Raymund Alovera, dean of ARFIEN. “It represents not only their technical skills but also their deepening appreciation of Asia’s cultural and architectural heritage. We are proud to present their work to the LCC community and the public.”
Faculty members, students, and guests gathered to witness the ceremonial illumination of the models, symbolizing the students’ role in shaping future landscapes through design, imagination, and cultural awareness.
The exhibit will remain open for viewing at the Santa Monica lobby.
