LCC Bacolod posts above-national passing rates in LEPT

La Consolacion College Bacolod recorded passing rates higher than the national average in the September and November 2025 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT), results of which were released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).

LCC Bacolod achieved a 100 percent passing rate in Elementary Education, nearly doubling the 51.04 percent national passing rate, where 21,967 out of 43,035 examinees passed. In Secondary Education, the school posted an 83.33 percent passing rate, surpassing the 72.62 percent national average, with 57,729 out of 79,493 examinees nationwide passing the exam.

The PRC said the results of 49 examinees were withheld pending final determination of their liabilities under licensure examination rules, while three examinees’ results were withheld for further verification of submitted documents.

LCC Bacolod attributed its strong performance to the collective efforts of its graduates, faculty, and administrators in the Teacher Education programs, emphasizing sustained academic mentoring, outcomes-based instruction, and values formation anchored on the institution’s mission.

The college congratulated its new professional teachers and reaffirmed its commitment to producing competent, ethical, and service-oriented educators who can contribute meaningfully to Philippine education.

La Consolacion College Bacolod offers teacher education programs guided by its Augustinian tradition and continues to strengthen curriculum delivery, faculty development, and licensure exam preparation initiatives.
