La Consolacion College Bacolod honored the dedication and loyalty of its personnel during the 2026 Service Awards held March 12 at the LCCB Auditorium as part of the institution’s 107th Founding Anniversary celebration.
The ceremony recognized employees who have served the Augustinian-Marian institution for milestones ranging from five to 35 years, as well as retirees and silver jubilarians whose decades of commitment have shaped the life and mission of the college.

The event began with a Thanksgiving Mass at 8 a.m., followed by the Service Recognition Ceremony where faculty and staff were formally acknowledged for their years of service. The program included the entrance of awardees and retirees, the awarding of service honors, and a tribute to those concluding their professional journey with the institution.
Among those recognized were personnel marking five, 10, 15, 20, 30, and 35 years of service, along with special honoree Jessie A. Asuncion. Silver Jubilarians Josephine V. Baquilar, Arnolfo E. Centino, and Bernadette T. Tupas were also honored for 25 years of dedicated service, while retirees Ma. Theresa R. Abellar, Thelma P. Padilangao, and Almi Jane B. Malanday were recognized for their lasting contributions to the LCCB community.
In her message, LCCB President Sr. Flolyn S. Catungal, OSA expressed gratitude to the awardees, emphasizing that their commitment reflects the enduring spirit of service that sustains the institution.
“Each year of service represents not just time given, but lives touched, lessons shared, and a community strengthened,” Catungal said. “Through your dedication, you continue to embody the Augustinian mission of forming persons who serve with faith, excellence, and compassion.”
She added that the institution’s 107-year journey has been made possible through the collective work of educators, administrators and staff who faithfully carry out the college’s mission of integral human formation.
The ceremony concluded with a response from the awardees delivered by Bernadette T. Tupas and closing remarks by Dr. Romela R. Aujero, vice president for administration and academic affairs.
Held annually, the Service Awards highlight the people whose quiet perseverance and faithful work sustain the life of the college, affirming that behind the institution’s achievements are individuals whose commitment continues to inspire the LCCB community.
