Four faculty members of the Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management program at La Consolacion College Bacolod passed the Amadeus certification examination, giving the school’s team a 100% passing rate.
Joanne Shiena Ricablanca and Florence Joy Soriano led the group with scores of 97. Jennalyn Niadas earned 91, while Eunice Acebuque received 90.
All four candidates exceeded the minimum certification score of 80 points.
LCC Bacolod President Sr. Flolyn S. Catungal, OSA, congratulated the faculty members and said their achievement strengthens the institution’s commitment to industry-responsive tourism education.

“This achievement reflects the dedication of our faculty members to continuously improve their professional competencies and provide our students with learning experiences that are aligned with current industry standards,” Catungal said. “Their certification strengthens our capacity to prepare tourism students for the demands of the global travel and hospitality sector.”
The successful candidates will receive individual digital certificates valid for five years. They will also receive credentials through Credly, an online platform that allows certificate holders to access and share verified digital badges on professional and social media platforms.
The certification demonstrates the faculty members’ proficiency in Amadeus systems and technologies used in travel and tourism operations. It also supports the college’s efforts to integrate industry-recognized competencies into instruction under the Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management program.
Amadeus provides technology solutions for airlines, travel agencies, hotels and other organizations in the global travel and tourism industry.
