The National Service Training Program (NSTP), is a program aimed at enhancing civic education, consciousness, and defense preparedness program for the students as instituted by the Government of the Philippines on 5 January 2000 by virtue of Republic Act 9163, otherwise known as the “National Service Training Program (NSTP) Act of 2001.” Thereby, developing the NSTP students the ethics of voluntary service and patriotism while undergoing training and education in any of its program components. NSTP components are specially designed and prepared for the active contribution of the youth to the general welfare of our country.
NSTP addresses the need for civic and national programs of youth development and mobilization for the task of nation-building. The NSTP was developed and operates in the context of education and national defense, both of which are important parts of the larger system of the national development and security policy for the Filipino youth.
Our NSTP classes are anchored in LCC Bacolod’s vision-mission, core values, and our community extension services.
