Circus-themed dance performances inspired by the musical film The Greatest Showman energized the crowd during the opening of the 2026 Sports Intramurals at La Consolacion College Bacolod on Monday, March 9, as departmental dance squads transformed the campus quadrangle into a vibrant spectacle of color, music and movement.
Students from various departments appeared in circus-inspired costumes, portraying ringmasters, performers and acrobats as they delivered synchronized dance routines that set the festive tone for the intramurals celebration.

The presentations highlighted the creativity and school spirit of the participating departments, including the Senior High School, School of Architecture, Fine Arts and Interior Design (SARFAID), School of Business and Information Technology (SBIT), School of Hospitality and Tourism Management (SHTM), and School of Sciences, Liberal Arts, and Teacher Education.
Set against the lively soundtrack of The Greatest Showman, the performances combined choreography, theatrical storytelling and visual flair, drawing cheers and applause from students, faculty and staff gathered at the quadrangle.
The themed presentations served as one of the highlights of the Intramurals opening ceremony, celebrating not only athletic competition but also artistic expression and unity among the LCCian community.
Following the opening program, the weeklong intramurals officially began with a series of sporting events and competitions, bringing together students from across the institution in a celebration of teamwork, sportsmanship and school pride.
