What is IWAG?
The IWAG Award, conferred by the Philippine Information Agency Region VI, celebrates outstanding student journalists in Western Visayas who embody the ideals of integrity, critical inquiry, and service through the written word. “Iwag” means light in Hiligaynon—a fitting symbol for student writers like Angel Hope who illuminate the path toward truth and social awareness.
