It has been a long dream of La Consolacion College Bacolod (LCCB) to offer Distance Learning to those who wishes to be educated with an Augustinian-Marian culture. LCCB has prepared for this endeavor long before the pandemic came in. As proof, LCCB has been tagged as one of the best ICT schools, indicating our capability to respond to the challenge of revolutionizing education and promoting 21st century learning.
As the world now strives to find comfort and resume life under the “new normal,” institutions are posed with a challenge to revise their systems and procedures giving due consideration to current circumstances. Schools are one of those most affected by the great paradigm shift in terms of roles and services with our primary clientele stuck in the safe confines of their homes. The current situation has put us in the best position to realize our capacity and potential to introduce and implement innovations in our educational system. LCCB has opened her doors to distance education. Delivering classes with the use of the world wide web and at the same time in small spaces called cubicles. This has indeed opened new teaching and learning opportunities for both educators and students.
Guided by her Mission to provide accessible, relevant and advanced curricular programs that promote life-long learning towards fulfilling careers and for Distance Learning lead to the development of this office.
