Sept. 24, 2025 — Rhythms of modern, native and hip-hop dance electrified the Covered Quadrangle of La Consolacion College Bacolod Integrated School on Wednesday as students competed in the dance categories of the annual Musical Contest.
In Category A, Grade 1 emerged as champion with a lively routine, while Grade 3 secured first runner-up and Grade 2 took second runner-up.

For Category B, Grade 6 claimed the championship with a performance that highlighted creative native dance. Grade 4 earned first runner-up honors, while Grade 5 rounded out the winners as second runner-up.
The competition in Category C was equally dynamic. Grade 9 was declared champion, impressing judges with precision and energy . Grade 10 earned first runner-up, Grade 7 took second runner-up, and Grade 8 finished as third runner-up.
Judges praised the participants for their creativity, discipline, and teamwork — qualities that, according to organizers, reflect the spirit of the intramurals beyond the contest stage. Cheers from classmates and parents echoed across the quadrangle as each group showcased its hard work and artistry.
The dance contests capped a day of performances that combined music, movement and youthful passion, reinforcing the school’s commitment to holistic student development.
