Hudson Global Scholars Presents U.S. Dual Diploma Program to LCC Bacolod Students

Hudson Global Scholars introduced its U.S. High School Dual Diploma Program to students of the Integrated Basic Education Department of La Consolacion College Bacolod during a presentation held Nov. 19 at the school auditorium.

Christine Fleming McIsaac, the organization’s U.S.-based marketing head, and Mark Jenel Magdato, Philippine representative, discussed how the program allows Filipino learners to earn both a U.S. high school diploma and their local senior high school credential through online coursework, global instructional support, and international academic standards.

The presentation highlighted opportunities for global readiness, university admissions advantages, and enhanced 21st-century skills development.

Sr. Irene M. Bancolo, OSA, principal of the Integrated Basic Education Department, welcomed the initiative, saying the program “opens an important pathway for our learners to experience high-quality, globally attuned education while remaining grounded in the values of LCC Bacolod.”

“We are grateful for partnerships that broaden our students’ horizons and empower them to become globally competitive and mission-driven learners,” she added.

The session formed part of the department’s efforts to strengthen internationalization and global competencies among its students.
