La Consolacion College Bacolod’s Integrated School and Senior High School kicked off the School Year 2024-2025 with student assemblies held on July 29, 2024, at the Centennial Quadrangle and Auditorium.
The events began with flag-raising
ceremonies and morning prayers, led by Ms. Genevieve R. Geriane, IS Academic Coordinator, and Ms. Janrae A. Sanicas, SHS Academic Coordinator. They introduced the school administrators and faculty members from various programs and learning areas.
Principal Sister Irene M. Bancolo, OSA, welcomed the students, expressing gratitude to the parents for choosing La Consolacion College Bacolod to provide their children with quality Augustinian, Marian, and Catholic education. She also expressed her delight in seeing new faces among the students and looked forward to a fruitful year with her fellow administrators and teachers.
Several offices presented essential information about the school’s policies, guidelines, and services. The Learning Resource Center (LRC), the Center for Spirituality and Mission (CSM), the Management and Information System (MIS), the Registrar’s Office, the Finance
Office, the SHS Guidance Office, the Institutional Environmental and Advocacy Program (IEAP), and the Office of Student Affairs and Services (OSAS) were all represented, ensuring students are well-informed and prepared for the year ahead.
