August 10, 2024—La Consolacion College Bacolod held a well-received orientation for parents of Nursery through Grade 10 students on the afternoon of August 10, 2024. The orientation, which followed a program similar to that of the Senior High School session earlier in the day, provided parents with crucial information about the upcoming school year.
Sister Editha S. Zerna, OSA, ASOLC Community Coordinator at LCC Bacolod, introduced the community of sisters and expressed her gratitude to the parents for their attendance. “We desire nothing less than the best for your children, and we encourage you to work proactively with the school throughout the school year,” said Sister Editha, emphasizing the importance of collaboration between parents and the school.
Integrated School Academic Coordinator Mrs. Genevieve Geriane took the stage to present the academic policies, ensuring that parents were well-informed about the standards and expectations for their children’s educational journey. Following this, Coordinator for Student Formation and Activities Mrs. Cresilda Amerila discussed the Code of Discipline, outlining the behavioral guidelines and disciplinary measures in place to maintain a conducive learning environment.
The orientation concluded with a closing message from Patricia Piojo, President of the Integrated School Council, who thanked the parents for their active participation and urged them to stay engaged in their children’s education.
The event received positive feedback from the attending parents, who appreciated the clear communication of policies and the opportunity to meet with the school’s academic and formation leaders. The orientation set a collaborative tone for the new school year, with both parents and school staff committed to working together for the success and well-being of the students.
