La Consolacion College Bacolod conducted its annual Internal Auditors Training on June 27, 2024, at the AVES Conference Room. The session, facilitated by Mr. Felix Adrian Dalida, the institution’s Quality Assurance Officer, gathered 20 internal auditors for a comprehensive orientation aligned with ISO 21001:2018 Educational Organization Management System (EOMS), despite the college currently holding certification under ISO 9001:2015.
The training forms part of LCC Bacolod’s continuous quality improvement efforts, ensuring that its internal auditors are well-equipped to conduct audits with precision and consistency. The session included familiarization with audit checklists, review of the audit procedure based on institutional policies, and calibration on standards.

Particular emphasis was placed on building auditors’ understanding of the transition from a Quality Management System (QMS) to EOMS. New internal auditors were also welcomed into the team, highlighting the importance of onboarding and strengthening the audit culture within the institution.
“The training is essential to ensure that our internal auditors are not only informed but also confident in assessing compliance and identifying areas for improvement,” said Mr. Dalida.
The event underscores LCC Bacolod’s commitment to accountability and quality assurance in education through regular review mechanisms and internal capacity-building.
