La Consolacion College Bacolod has achieved a significant milestone in its pursuit of academic excellence as its Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management program receives a clean slate evaluation and secures a 5-year Level II reaccredited status until May 2028. The accomplishment highlights the college’s commitment to providing quality education in hospitality management.
The clean slate reaccreditation has brought joy and pride to the administration, faculty members, and La Consolacion College Bacolod students. President Sister Joan Brigida Corazon S. Infante, OSA, congratulated the entire college community and expressed gratitude for their dedication and hard work.
“I extend my heartfelt congratulations to our administration, faculty members, and students in the Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management and Culinary Arts programs,” said Sister Joan Brigida Corazon S. Infante, OSA. “This achievement is a testament to our college community’s unwavering commitment and perseverance.”
Looking toward the future, Rodjhun Navarro, the Vice President for Research, Innovation, and Linkages, announced the college’s intention to apply for Level III Accredited Status to the Philippine Association of Accrediting Schools, Colleges, and Universities.
“As soon as we receive the official certification from the Federation of Accrediting Agencies of the Philippines, we will submit our application for Level III Accredited Status,” stated Navarro. “We remain committed to providing the highest quality education and preparing our students for success in the field of hospitality management.”
The achievement was also recognized by the President of the Philippine Association of Accrediting Schools, Colleges, and Universities (PAASCU), Br. Edmundo L. Fernandez, FSC. He commended La Consolacion College Bacolod for their continuous efforts in improving their standards and congratulated the administration, faculty, and students on their accomplishments.
“After fully considering the team’s findings, the Board of Trustees unanimously agreed that La Consolacion College Bacolod’s Hospitality Management program is granted reaccreditation for five (5) years,” said Br. Edmundo L. Fernandez, FSC. “In granting re-accreditation, PAASCU recognizes and appreciates the continuous work of the school in improving its standards. We congratulate the administration, faculty, and students to whom La Consolacion College Bacolod owes what it is now! We also take this opportunity to thank you, on behalf of PAASCU, for the warm and cordial hospitality extended to the accreditors.”
