La Consolacion College Bacolod is pleased to announce the completion of the renovation of its main library, which now includes two additional group study rooms. With the addition, the library boasts a total of three group study rooms, each capable of accommodating up to 10 persons. These rooms are ideal for research groups and small lecture classes, providing a dedicated space for collaborative learning and discussions.
The new study rooms serve multiple functions. They provide a space for small groups to work on projects and assignments without disturbing others, making them perfect for group study and collaboration. These rooms are also suitable for holding meetings, discussions, and brainstorming sessions. The plan is to equip the rooms with multimedia facilities so they can be used for practicing presentations or working with audiovisual materials. Additionally, the rooms offer a dedicated space for one-on-one tutoring, mentoring, or coaching sessions, and serve as a quiet place for individual study or research when a distraction-free environment is needed. To ensure accessibility and convenience, these rooms are available for reservation, allowing students and faculty to plan their sessions in advance and make the best use of these facilities.
Sister President Flolyn S. Catungal, OSA, commented on the renovation, saying, “We are committed to continuously improving our facilities to better serve our students and faculty. The new group study rooms are part of our efforts to create an environment that supports academic excellence and fosters collaboration.” The upgraded library facilities underscore La Consolacion College Bacolod’s dedication to enhancing the educational experience of its community. The new group study rooms are now available for reservation, offering a modern and conducive space for study and collaboration.
