La Consolacion College Bacolod has successfully concluded its audit initiation phase and is set to commence a series of internal audits across 37 offices and units within the institution. These audits are part of the college’s rigorous preparations for the ISO 21001 Educational Organizations Management Systems (EOMS) Certification.
The internal auditors, who received comprehensive training on June 4, 2024, are now ready to implement their skills in ensuring the institution meets the highest standards of educational management. The internal audits are scheduled throughout the month of July and are crucial for the institution’s adherence to the ISO 21001 standards.
Sister Flolyn S. Catungal expressed her gratitude to the internal auditors for their volunteer service and dedication. “We deeply appreciate the commitment and hard work of our internal auditors. Their efforts are vital in upholding our quality standards and ensuring our readiness for the ISO 21001 EOMS Certification,” said Sister Catungal.
Participation in the internal audit process serves as an induction mechanism for new and aspiring administrative candidates. It allows them to familiarize themselves with the institution’s various processes, quality standards, and regulatory requirements that need to be met.
Currently, La Consolacion College Bacolod holds the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System certification. The move towards ISO 21001 EOMS Certification demonstrates the institution’s ongoing commitment to continuous improvement and excellence in educational management. The college administration is confident that the internal audits will not only ensure compliance but also enhance the overall quality and efficiency of the institution’s operations, further solidifying its reputation as a leading educational institution.
