La Consolacion College Bacolod donated more than 200 textbooks to the library of Luisa Medel National High School on Sept. 29, strengthening its continuing outreach to public schools in the city.
The donation, which covered various learning areas in Junior High School, was delivered by LCC Bacolod Librarian Ms. Jimiveve Tamon, along with administrators and student leaders from the School of Sciences, Liberal Arts, and Teacher Education (SSLATE).

Among the representatives were Dr. Janrae Sanicas, dean of SSLATE, program heads Dr. Rosanne Jalbuena and Ms. Jean Erezo, and student leaders Lory Gane Regala (BSED Filipino 4), Alycone Somer Tan (BSED English 4, SSLATE Governor), Merylan Polangco (BSED Filipino 4, President of the Education Society), and Adrian Cuizon (BSED English 1). They were joined by Ms. Bernadette Tupas, coordinator of the Mother Rita Barcelo Outreach Center.
The books were formally received by school principal Ms. EJ V. Sy and Adopt-a-School Coordinator, Ms. Leah Cansancio.
As part of the visit, the LCC Bacolod delegation also gave a short talk to students in the Humanities and Social Sciences strand of Luisa Medel National High School, introducing them to the academic programs of La Consolacion College Bacolod.
