La Consolacion College Bacolod renewed its partnership with San Sebastian Parish – Bacolod through the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement to continue service-learning and faith-based community engagement initiatives.
The agreement, signed by Sr. Flolyn S. Catungal, OSA, president of LCC Bacolod, and Rev. Fr. Narciso P. Gayares VII, vice rector of San Sebastian Parish, covers collaborative activities for two academic years, with provisions for renewal.
Under the renewed partnership, the parish will provide space and facilitate access for LCC Bacolod students to conduct service-learning programs, including literacy and numeracy sessions for parish beneficiaries. The agreement also enables students to participate in music ministry during designated parish masses, with the parish providing venues and necessary materials.

LCC Bacolod, through its academic units and outreach arm, committed to the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the service-learning activities in coordination with the parish, as well as the conduct of the singing ministry during scheduled liturgical celebrations.
The partnership is aligned with the College’s thrust to integrate academic learning with community service and faith formation, strengthening its collaboration with local institutions in addressing educational and pastoral needs in Bacolod City.
The MOA takes effect upon signing and remains valid for two academic years, unless earlier terminated for just cause, and may be renewed under mutually agreed terms.
