LCC Bacolod Signs Moa with Province of Negros Occidental for Renewable Energy Week Exhibit

La Consolacion College Bacolod and the Province of Negros Occidental have formalized their partnership through the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement for the participation of the college’s School of Architecture, Fine Arts, and Interior Design in the 2nd Renewable Energy (R/E) Week exhibit on July 17–19, 2025, at the SMX Convention Center, Bacolod City.

The MOA signing was held on July 8, 2025. Signing on behalf of the Province of Negros Occidental was Former Governor Rafael L. Coscolluela, Provincial Consultant on Energy and Environment. Signing for La Consolacion College Bacolod was Sr. Flolyn S. Catungal, OSA, President of the College.

Under the agreement, LCC Bacolod students will showcase design solutions that promote energy efficiency in infrastructures and advocate for sustainable development during the three-day exhibit. The Province of Negros Occidental will also provide resource speakers for future seminars organized by the college on related advocacy topics.

The Renewable Energy Week is part of the SecuRE Negros Campaign, which promotes awareness on renewable energy, energy efficiency, and sustainable practices throughout the province.
