Bacolod City, January 30, 2025 – La Consolacion College Bacolod’s Interior Design program has been confirmed fully compliant with legal and regulatory standards following a monitoring visit by the Professional Regulations Commission (PRC) Professional Regulatory Board of Interior Design.The inspection team, led by Hon. Maria Carlota D. Hilvano and Hon. Vincent Louie V. Tan, found that LCC Bacolod meets all faculty, curriculum, and facility requirements set by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) and PRC. The team also commended the institution’s active participation in professional activities and its commitment to quality education.
While the program was deemed compliant, the inspection team recommended enhancing documentation of activities and improving access to interior design resources through the College Library. Ar. Raymund Vincent Alovera, PhD, Dean of the School of Architecture, Fine Arts, and Interior Design, assured that LCC Bacolod will continue to refine its program to maintain excellence in education and professional training.The successful compliance assessment reinforces LCC Bacolod’s reputation as a pioneering institution for Interior Design education, ensuring that its graduates meet the highest industry standards.
