LCCB Prioritizes Employee Wellness with Annual Health Screening

Bacolod City, January 16, 2025 – The La Consolacion College-Bacolod Community today held its annual laboratory testing and mobile chest x-ray for its employees at the LCCB Centennial Quadrangle. Organized by the Human Resource Development Office (HRD) in collaboration with the Health Services Center (HSC), the event aimed to promote employee health and well-being.

Prior to the event, employees received a memorandum outlining the schedule and necessary preparations, including an 8-10 hour fasting period for accurate blood test results. Registration commenced at 7:00 AM, where employees were interviewed to determine their desired services.

Blood samples were drawn for various tests, including Fasting Blood Sugar (FBS), Complete Blood Count (CBC), Creatinine, Uric Acid, Total Cholesterol, and Serum Glutamic Pyruvic Transaminase (SGPT). Following blood tests, employees underwent chest x-rays. Each employee was also provided with a sample container for urinalysis.

This initiative underscores LCCB’s commitment to the health and well-being of its employees. By providing accessible and convenient health screenings, the institution ensures that its workforce is healthy and capable of effectively serving their families, clients, and the school community.
