La Consolacion College Bacolod reminded academic and institutional support administrators that quality assurance is a shared responsibility during a General Quality Management System Orientation held as part of the Administrators’ Academy for academic year 2026-2027.
Felix Adrian D. Dalida, head of the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Office, led the orientation, which focused on key documentation requirements under the school’s Quality Management System. These included the Risk Register, Annual Operational Plan, Faculty and Personnel Development Plan and Calendar of Activities.

Dalida said the Quality Management System should not be viewed as the work of one office alone, but as a common responsibility of all units involved in delivering academic and support services.
“Quality is everyone’s responsibility,” Dalida said. “Every office contributes to the effectiveness of the institution when it plans properly, documents its processes, monitors its outputs and uses evidence for improvement.”
The orientation emphasized that documentation is not merely a compliance requirement but a tool for institutional accountability, continuity and continuous improvement. Administrators were reminded that clear records help offices track targets, evaluate performance, address risks and provide evidence for internal and external quality assurance reviews.
The session was followed by a workshop facilitated by Adrian Mar Taglorin, research and quality assurance associate, on the interrelationship of the Risk Register, Annual Operational Plan and Calendar of Activities.
The workshop guided administrators in reviewing how identified risks and opportunities should inform office-level plans and how major activities should be reflected in the institutional calendar. Participants examined whether their plans were aligned with strategic priorities, measurable outputs, timelines and means of verification.
The activity formed part of the Administrators’ Academy, which gathered administrators to clarify targets under the Strategic Plan 2026-2031, introduce the organizational structure for AY 2026-2027, finalize the institutional calendar and review the institutional research agenda.
Organizers said the orientation aimed to strengthen a culture of quality across offices by ensuring that planning, documentation, implementation and evaluation are understood as shared commitments in advancing the mission of LCC Bacolod.
