“Dugo mo, Sugpon sang Kabuhi ko” – LCCB’s Bloodletting Program Resounds with Unity and Compassion

In a powerful display of unity, compassion, and unwavering community spirit, La Consolacion College Bacolod (LCCB) hosted its annual “Dugo mo, Sugpon sang Kabuhi ko” Bloodletting Program on September 15, 2023, at the LCCB Auditorium. The event marked a profound moment of coming together for a noble cause, as school personnel, students, and proud alumni rolled up their sleeves to donate the gift of life.

One remarkable aspect of this year’s event was the tremendous turnout of LCCB NSTP (National Service Training Program) students who enthusiastically participated in the blood donation drive. The auditorium buzzed with energy and anticipation as the event kicked off at 9:00 am. Personnel from the Health and Services Center of LCCB and volunteers from the City Health and Provincial Health offices worked tirelessly to ensure a seamless and safe blood donation process, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that put donors at ease.

With hearts full of compassion and determination, donors generously gave the gift of life, emphasizing the value of collective action and the difference it can make in the lives of individuals and families in need of blood transfusions.
