INDAYOG SA LACO 2026 UNITES LCCB COMMUNITY IN MUSIC, DANCE CELEBRATION

Students, faculty and staff of La Consolacion College Bacolod took center stage in a vibrant display of talent and unity during the annual variety show, Indayog sa Laco 2026, featuring a mix of traditional and contemporary performances.

The program opened with a tribute to Filipino heritage through a repertoire of folk songs and patriotic anthems performed by the LCC Chorale and Chorus under the direction of Prof. Alexander Magno Romero of the Center for Music, Arts and Culture.

The second segment showcased a dynamic lineup of dances performed by students, faculty and non-teaching personnel from various departments. Among the highlights was “Fiesta sa Nayon,” presented by the LCCB faculty, followed by the traditional dances Singkil and Itik-Itik. The Elementary Faculty energized the crowd with a lively pop dance number.

The performances continued with a pop dance by ANTP/NTPGM, a folk dance by the Senior High School, and a hip-hop performance by the Junior High School. The Family Council added color to the program with a festival dance, while the Senior High School delivered another hip-hop routine and capped their segment with a jazz dance performed by its faculty.

The show concluded with a unity dance that brought all performers together on stage, symbolizing collaboration and shared celebration across the LCCB community.

The evening ended on a high note as a live band performance stirred excitement and nostalgia among the audience, creating an atmosphere of overflowing energy.

LCCB President Sr. Flolyn S. Catungal, OSA, underscored the significance of the event in fostering community and creative expression.

“This celebration reflects the vibrant spirit of our LCCian community—where talents are nurtured, culture is honored, and unity is lived out through shared experiences,” she said.

Indayog sa Laco 2026 once again highlighted the creativity, passion and cultural pride of its participants, reinforcing the institution’s commitment to holistic formation through the arts.
