La Consolacion College Bacolod recently hosted a monitoring visit from the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Region 6. The visit, which took place on March 14, 2023, was part of CHED’s ongoing efforts to ensure the quality of education in the country.
During the monitoring visit, CHED officials evaluated the programs offered by La Consolacion College Bacolod and assessed their compliance with CHED standards. The team conducted a thorough review of the institution’s academic and administrative policies, as well as its facilities and services.
The monitoring team provided valuable insights and feedback to the college, highlighting areas for improvement and commending the institution for its strengths. The officials expressed their appreciation for the warm welcome and cooperation they received from the administration and staff of La Consolacion College Bacolod.
In response to the feedback received, the college administration expressed their commitment to continuous improvement and pledged to address the areas identified for enhancement.

The CHED monitoring team that visited La Consolacion College Bacolod was composed of a group of experts from various academic fields. The team was led by Dr. Jimmy Tolosa, OIC-Supervising Education Program Specialist, who evaluated the college’s BSBA, MBA, MBA-HRM, and DBA programs. Other members of the team included Dr. Arnold Anceno, who assessed the institution’s ETEEAP program; Dr. Mercedes Monsale and Dr. Roxanne Edrosolano, who evaluated the BEED and MAELM programs; Dr. Alan Lena, who assessed the BS Architecture, BFA, BSID, and MS Architecture programs; Dr. Rosslin John Robles, who evaluated the BSEMC, BSIT, and BLIS programs; and Dr. Danebeth Narzoles, who assessed the BSED and MAED programs. The team also included Mr. Efren Sucaldito, who evaluated the BSHM, BSTM, and MSHM programs, and Ms. Karen Zaldivar, who assessed the ABELS, BS Psychology, MAGC, and Student Affairs programs. The team’s expertise and insights were instrumental in assessing the quality of education and services offered by La Consolacion College Bacolod.
