La Consolacion College Bacolod Joins the Culmination of the 31st Provincial Environment Month

La Consolacion College Bacolod, through the Institutional Environmental Advocacy Program (IEAP), actively participated in the culmination of the 31st Provincial Environment Month spearheaded by the Provincial Government of Negros Occidental. The event took place on July 7 at the Ayala Malls Capitol Central, gathering representatives from various organizations, government officials, students and representatives from the academe who shared a common commitment to environmental stewardship.

LCC Bacolod was represented at the event by Mr. Adryan J. Valiao, the LCCB IEAP Coordinator, along with student leaders from the LCCB Supreme Student Government, LCCB Senior High Student Government, and the LCCB Corps of Student Ambassadors. Their participation highlighted the college’s dedication to instilling environmental awareness and responsibility among its students.

The highlight of the event was the comprehensive report presented by the Provincial Environment Management Office, highlighting the various initiatives and activities conducted throughout the month-long commemoration. The report shed light on the province’s progress in environmental conservation and sustainable practices, emphasizing the importance of collaborative efforts from different sectors.

The event was graced by the presence of Provincial Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson, provincial officials, employees, and representatives from local government units (LGUs), non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and the academic community. Their collective presence demonstrated the significance of the occasion and the shared commitment to protecting and preserving the environment.
