LCC BACOLOD STRENGTHENS QUALITY ASSURANCE SYSTEM THROUGH INTENAL AUDITORS TRAINING

La Consolacion College Bacolod will hold an Internal Auditors’ Training on July 3 to strengthen the institution’s quality management system and prepare a pool of personnel who will support quality assurance processes for Academic Year 2026-2027.

The training, organized by the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Office, will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the AVES Conference Room. It will gather 26 confirmed participants from various academic and administrative units of the institution.

Felix Adrian D. Dalida, head of the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Office, said the training is part of LCC Bacolod’s continuing efforts to develop competent internal auditors who will assist in the implementation, monitoring and continual improvement of the school’s quality assurance mechanisms.

The participants include faculty members, deans, program heads, office heads, coordinators and staff from the School of Science, Liberal Arts, and Teacher Education; School of Architecture, Fine Arts, and Interior Design; Graduate School; Integrated Basic Education; College Guidance Student Services; Learning Resource Center; Research and Creative Works Office; Human Resource Development Office; Purchasing Office; and other institutional units.

Sr. Flolyn S. Catungal, OSA, school president, said the training reflects the institution’s commitment to organizational excellence and sustained quality improvement.

“Quality assurance is not the work of one office alone. It is a shared responsibility that calls for competence, collaboration and fidelity to our mission as an Augustinian school,” Catungal said. “Through this training, we hope to empower more members of our community to take part in strengthening systems that support effective service, academic excellence and integral formation.”

The training is expected to equip participants with the knowledge and skills needed to conduct internal audits and contribute to the effectiveness and sustainability of LCC Bacolod’s quality management initiatives.

The activity forms part of the institution’s preparations for the coming academic year and its continuing commitment to quality, accountability and organizational development.
