Under the mentorship of Mr. Romel Cadigal, a faculty member of the LCCB School of Sciences, Liberal Arts, and Teacher Education, the exhibit showcased a striking collection of artworks crafted in the cubist style. This artistic movement, characterized by fragmented forms and geometric shapes, took on a distinctly Filipino flavor in “Nawong,” celebrating the rich tapestry of Filipino creativity.
Mr. Cadigal shared his insights on the exhibition, stating, “In ‘Nawong: Redefining Perspectives,’ we pay homage to the ingenuity of Filipino artists through the lens of cubism. Each piece serves as a testament to our nation’s innovative spirit, with shapes and colors intertwining to reflect the vibrant essence of our culture.”
