The Circular Connect Competition stands as a pivotal platform that places a strong emphasis on nurturing circular economy-driven solutions aimed at addressing the critical issues of plastic waste and marine litter in the Western Visayas region of the Philippines. The realization of this competition was made possible through the collaborative efforts of Circular Cities Asia and the 3RproMar Project (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle to Protect the Marine Environment and Coral Reefs). The competition was co-hosted by GIZ (German Agency for International Cooperation GmbH) and the ASEAN Secretariat.
