LCC BACOLOD DELEGATION CONDUCTS BENCHMARKING VISIT TO DOMINICAN INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL IN TAIPEI

TAIPEI, Taiwan — A delegation from La Consolacion College Bacolod conducted a benchmarking visit to Dominican International School (DIS) in Taipei on April 23, 2026, as part of the institution’s continuing efforts to strengthen global linkages and learn from international best practices in Catholic education.

The 20-member delegation, led by LCCB President Sr. Flolyn S. Catungal, OSA, was warmly welcomed by Dominican International School Directress Sr. Jacqueline C. Manuel, OP, together with school administrators and faculty members.

The visit featured an institutional presentation, dialogue on academic programs and student services, classroom and campus exposure, and discussions on possible areas of collaboration between the two Catholic institutions.

Catungal expressed gratitude for the warm hospitality extended to the LCCB delegation and emphasized the value of learning through international engagement.

“We are grateful to Dominican International School for generously opening its doors to our delegation,” Catungal said. “This benchmarking visit allows us to gain valuable insights from a globally oriented Catholic institution while exploring opportunities for collaboration that will enrich our academic community.”

Manuel welcomed the visitors and underscored the importance of partnerships among faith-based educational institutions.

“It is our pleasure to receive our colleagues from La Consolacion College Bacolod,” Manuel said. “Encounters such as this strengthen our shared mission of forming learners through excellence, service and faith. We look forward to meaningful exchanges and future collaboration.”

During the visit, LCCB administrators engaged with their DIS counterparts on areas such as curriculum innovation, multicultural education, student support systems, faculty development, and values formation.

Both institutions also discussed potential cooperative initiatives, including faculty exchange, virtual student interaction, professional development programs, and future institutional partnerships.

The benchmarking activity forms part of LCCB’s broader internationalization program aimed at expanding strategic partnerships and enhancing educational quality through exposure to leading institutions abroad.
