LCC BACOLOD RED CROSS YOUTH COUNCIL EARNS TOP HONORS IN NERGOS OCCIDENTAL CHAPTER AWARDS

The Senior Red Cross Youth Council of La Consolacion College Bacolod has been recognized as the 2nd Outstanding Red Cross Youth Council by the Philippine Red Cross Youth – Negros Occidental Chapter, adding another milestone to the institution’s commitment to youth leadership, volunteerism and humanitarian service.

The council also received the Best Bid Book Award, while student leader Kiara Maxene G. Baltazar was named 3rd Outstanding Red Cross Youth during the chapter recognition rites.

Sr. Flolyn S. Catungal, OSA congratulated the awardees and praised the organization for embodying compassion through service.

“We are proud of our Senior Red Cross Youth Council for bringing honor to La Consolacion College Bacolod. These recognitions affirm that when young people lead with compassion, discipline and a spirit of volunteerism, they can make a meaningful difference in society. Congratulations to our student leaders, members and adviser for this inspiring achievement,” Sr. Flolyn said.

Several members and the council adviser were likewise honored with merit awards for their dedication and active participation in Red Cross Youth programs and activities.

Those recognized were Ethan Christoff A. Serra, Johanna Mikaela G. Miranda, Paolo Antonio B. Magno, Jade Aerielle S. Sustento, Elaiza B. Cordova, Johanna Angelique S. Candor, Leane Gwyneth B. Ramoran, Jose Eduardo M. Amerila, Princess Helen S. Linas, Andrea Lleigh A. Reyes, Michaella Tiongson, Chelsea Sabelle Garde, Bernyss Marie C. Cielo, Vince Dwane Somontina, and Kiara Maxene G. Baltazar.

The group is guided by adviser Mr. Louie John Y. Oceja.

The latest recognition highlights LCC Bacolod’s continuing efforts to develop socially responsible student leaders who are ready to serve the community in times of need.
