LCCB SRCY and CRCY Engage in Youth Volunteer Formation Course

In the spirit of commitment to humanitarian service, the LCCB Senior Red Cross Youth (SRCY) and College Red Cross Youth (CRCY) volunteers recently participated in a Youth Volunteer Formation Course.

Facilitated by seasoned instructors from RCY Negros Occidental, including Joan Keithlyn H. Guerrero, Ma. Gabrielle Erich C. Trunio, and Associate Instructor Clive N. Nys, the course offered a comprehensive curriculum designed to equip the youth volunteers with essential knowledge and practical skills.

The event saw the active participation of RCY volunteers spanning from the Integrated School, Senior High, to College levels, underscoring the inclusive nature of the initiative and the collective dedication of the youth towards humanitarian causes.

The formation course, organized through the diligent efforts of Ms. Shiela Mae Gallego, Adviser of LCCB RCY, provided a platform for participants to engage in various modules and activities aimed at honing their leadership abilities, fostering teamwork, and instilling the principles of compassion and service.

Ms. Gallego expressed her gratitude for the collaborative effort and underscored the significance of such initiatives in nurturing the spirit of volunteerism among the youth. She emphasized the importance of equipping young volunteers with the necessary skills and values to respond effectively to the needs of their communities, especially in times of crises and emergencies.

The Youth Volunteer Formation Course stands as a testament to the unwavering commitment of LCCB and RCY towards empowering the youth to become proactive agents of change and advocates for humanitarian action. As these young volunteers embark on their journey of service, they carry with them not only newfound knowledge but also a profound sense of purpose and dedication to making a positive difference in the lives of others.

This initiative underscores the pivotal role of education and training in nurturing a generation of compassionate and empowered individuals who are poised to address the challenges of today and shape a more resilient and inclusive future for all./AV #lccbRCY #LCCBCommunityofFriends #BuildingDreamsTogetherwithLCCB
