Architecture Students Showcase Innovation in “Beyond Boundaries” Exhibit

La Consolacion College Bacolod architecture students are taking the architectural world by storm with their latest exhibit titled “Beyond Boundaries: Pushing the Limits of Architectural Creativity.” The exhibit, which runs from April 3 to April 9, 2024, is located at the 2nd Floor East Bridgeway of SM City Bacolod.

The rationale behind the exhibit is clear: to encourage students to think outside the box and push the boundaries of traditional architectural norms. By showcasing groundbreaking projects, experimental designs, and visionary ideas, the exhibit aims to inspire creativity and innovation among aspiring architects.

Moreover, the exhibit serves as an educational tool for visitors to learn about different architectural styles, sustainable design practices, historical significance, techniques, and technologies. Through informational and interactive displays, models, and drawings, attendees can gain insights into the multifaceted world of architecture.

“This exhibit is a testament to the talent and dedication of our architecture students,” said Sr. Joan Brigida Corazon S. Infante, OSA, President of LCC Bacolod. “It’s an opportunity for them to showcase their skills and creativity while promoting our school and the architecture course we offer.”

The exhibit features the work of students from various year levels in the architecture program, including projects from courses such as Decorative Elements, Interior Space Planning & Period Style, Monochromatic and Freehand Drawing, History of Architecture, Site Development Planning And Landscaping, Computer-aided Design & Drafting for Architecture, and Advanced BIM.

Among the featured works are from design classes of Ar. Marie Donna Mabaquiao, Ar. Julianne Mae Rosalind De la Paz, Ar. Emi Paulette Lizada, Ar. Mary Joy Amar, Ar. Tiffany Penado, Ar. Louisel Jill Lim, Ar. Gary Peter Bello, Ar. Jose Ignacio Bantug, Ar. Vincent Raymund Y. Alovera, and Ar. Demie M. Verde.

With their innovative designs and visionary concepts, LCC Bacolod architecture students are pushing the boundaries of architectural creativity and leaving a lasting impact on the industry.#
