La Consolacion College Bacolod Trains New Internal Auditors to Ensure Quality Management System Compliance with ISO 9001:2015 Certification

La Consolacion College Bacolod has recently conducted a comprehensive training program for its newly appointed internal auditors to align with its ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System certification. The training, which occurred on January 27, 2023, aimed to equip internal auditors with the skills and competencies required to perform their roles effectively.

The ISO 9001:2015 certification, a globally recognized quality management systems standard, focuses on continuous improvement and customer satisfaction. As such, organizations must employ a systematic approach to manage their processes, including regular internal audits.

The training program for La Consolacion College Bacolod’s internal auditors was thorough and included classroom instruction, practical applications, and opportunities to interact with experienced auditors. Rodjhun Navarro, VP for Research, Innovations, and Linkages, provided an orientation to the internal audit process and guided the auditors on using the audit checklist.

La Consolacion College Bacolod’s new internal auditors will be conducting systematic and independent assessments of the college’s processes and procedures to identify areas for improvement, monitor the implementation of corrective actions, and ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards.

Joane Cortado, LCCB’s newly appointed Quality Assurance Officer, facilitated the onboarding of new internal auditors, recognizing their commitment and dedication as critical to the success of the college’s ISO 9001:2015 certification and quality management system.

With the successful completion of the training program, La Consolacion College Bacolod’s new internal auditors are now poised to contribute to the continuous improvement of the college’s quality management system.
