La Consolacion College Bacolod’s Bachelor of Science in Architecture program has reached a remarkable milestone by attaining Level III Accredited Status from the Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities – Commission on Accreditation (PACUCOA). This accomplishment not only distinguishes our program as a leader in architectural education but also marks a historic moment as the first in Negros Occidental and Western Visayas to attain such accreditation.
The accolade was officially bestowed upon the institution during PACUCOA’s 50th Founding Anniversary and 34th General Assembly at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Cebu City, on December 1, 2023. Ar. Vincent Raymund Y. Alovera, PhD, Dean of the LCCB School of Architecture, Fine Arts, and Interior Design, accepted the prestigious award, titled “First Architecture Program to have been granted Level III Reaccredited Status in Region VI,” on behalf of our School President, Sr. Joan BC S. Infante, OSA.
The journey to this significant achievement was paved with dedication, commitment, and unwavering support from the SARFAID Dean, BS Architecture program head, faculty, staff, and students of the School of Architecture, Fine Arts, and Interior Design. Their collective efforts have not only elevated the status of the program but have also set a new standard for architectural education in the region.
The rigorous evaluation process conducted by PACUCOA has played a pivotal role in shaping the program’s continuous improvement. We extend our sincere gratitude to PACUCOA for their commitment to maintaining high standards and ensuring that educational institutions deliver the best possible learning experience to their students.
This Level III Accredited Status serves as a testament to the relentless pursuit of excellence within our academic community. It signifies that our program has met and exceeded the stringent criteria set by industry experts, reflecting the quality of education provided to aspiring architects at La Consolacion College Bacolod.
