La Consolacion College Bacolod celebrated a joyous Christmas Fellowship, bringing together the school’s personnel for an afternoon of camaraderie and festive cheer at the LCCB Centennial Covered Quadrangle on December 21, 2023.
The event commenced with a community lunch, fostering a sense of togetherness among the LCCB family. Following the hearty meal, the Christmas Fellowship unfolded with an Opening Liturgy and Program Preliminaries, setting the stage for an afternoon filled with merriment.
Sr. Joan BC S. Infante, OSA, School President, warmly welcomed everyone with a heartfelt address, sharing a Christmas message that resonated with the spirit of the season.
The highlight of the fellowship program was the much-anticipated raffle of door prizes, featuring an array of enticing gifts, including home appliances and various surprises. The different departments showcased their vibrant cultural spirit through lively folk dance performances, all adhering to this year’s theme, “Pinoy Christmas.”
The program also took a moment to honor and recognize the achievements of the personnel who recently passed the Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers. Their dedication and success added an extra layer of accomplishment to the festive occasion.
Furthermore, the Plastic Recycling Advocacy Champions and Supporters for the months of July to December 2023 were acknowledged for their outstanding commitment to environmental sustainability.
In a festive climax, the Integrated School emerged as the Folk Dance Presentation Champion, with the School of Hospitality and Tourism Management securing a commendable second place.
The program concluded with a gracious Message of Thanks from Dr. Romela Aujero, Vice President for Administration and Alumni Relations/HRD Head, expressing gratitude for the collective efforts that made the event memorable.
As a heartwarming gesture, the Sisters’ Community distributed gifts to the personnel, symbolizing the spirit of giving and solidarity that defines the Christmas season at LCCB.
